Food was delicious and service was fantastic. However, (and perhaps this is my fault for not thinking ahead) but it nauseating how the patrons were spitting their spit from the hookah right onto the restaurant floor. Also, it was freezing cold throughout the entire restaurant- indoor and greenhouse space. There was "heat" but we had to eat with our winter puffers on. But food and service is worth coming back for.
Such a cool spot to sit outside at in the warm weather. Once you get past the massage parlor out front, it does really feel like you might be in the Amazon rainforest. Hummus was incredible. I recommend splitting some apps with the table and throwing in a hookah if you're feeling adventurous.
Ambiance was 10/10, so gorgeous, food delicious, service was a little slow but overall would go back
Ordered: Mint Lemonade (~$9) Boss Hookah with Quasar Head (~$40): peach, mango, lemon, with mint Shepherd Salad (~$17) + feta ($4): cucumber, red onion, green pepper, mint, parsley, tomatoes, lemon with EVOO Hummus (~$11) Borek (~$12): 4pc pastry roll stuffed with feta & spinach Truffle Fries (~$12) Calamari (~$19) Mix Grill (~$46): chicken kebab, adana kebab, lamb shish meatballs served with rice, grilled tomato, and onions Aya's take: I've had Lulu Mediterranean on my list for a while and finally got to go for a girl's night out! We started off with the Mint Lemonade & Boss Hookah. The hookah was super smooth and crisp with the Quasar Head. I've never seen that offered at a hookah lounge so it was nice to try it out. All the food here was actually delicious. Even their complimentary pita bread and zaa'tar olive oil dip was incredible! I loved the freshness of the Shepherd Salad and the airiness and flakiness of the Borek. All the meats in the Mix Grill were well-seasoned, juicy, and bursting with flavor. Their Truffle Fries are highly addictive although I didn't really get any truffle essence. I highly recommend checking out Lulu if you're in the area. They do have free parking but the lot fills up quick during busy times.
If you're looking for a very chill evening where you can eat in the restaurant one side and enjoy hookah on the other side while in Edgewater, this is the spot to go to. Food was okay, but at least the servers were great and super accommodating. Please note this establishment is BYOB, so make sure you come prepared!
